Volunteers - Help Needed
We have various roles for volunteers.
We are looking for people interested in providing caring companionship for people with a terminal illness and their families or loved ones.This role would be either in one of our hospice guest houses or in the local community. You need to undertake a four day (over four weeks) training course to be eligible for this role.

Obtaining a Blue Card
Blue
cards are issued by the Commission for Children and Young People and
Child Guardian once it has carried out the Working with Children Check
to see if a person is eligible to work in the areas of child-related
work covered by the Commission's Act.
If a person is eligible, they are issued a positive notice letter and a
blue card.

The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice are now interviewing for Charity Shop volunteers.
If you can commit between 2 and 4 hours per week to work in one of our shops at any of the following locations:
Hospice OP Shop, 46 Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore
The Atrium, 91 Poinciana Street, Tewantin
Katie Rose Boutique, 17 Obi Obi Road, Mapleton
