LAUNCH OF THE HOSPICE

We would like this opportunity to sincerely thank all our wonderful volunteers for their enthusiasm and support. We have been extremely busy and on Friday May 23rd the hospice project was launched.

Volunteer Maureen McFerran co-ordinated the decorating theme with a flower filled stage, candle lit tables adorned with flowers and a fairyland of candles lighting up the entrance.

Mark McArdle, Chairperson of the Hospice Board of Directors welcomed guests followed by the introduction of our patrons, Nita Lait OAM and Peter Wellington MP.

Delicious gourmet food and lively music contributed to a wonderful evening of celebration.

Master of Ceremonies, Alan Pease amused guests with his entertaining body language stories.

Terry and Sue were overwhelmed with the tremendous support of guests and volunteer contribution to a most memorable evening.

They are thrilled that we are now well on the way to achieving their dream of building the first hospice on the Sunshine Coast.
