Our Key People
The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice cannot operate without
people, we have a variety of qualified personnel and
volunteers who ensure that we run in a professional and
enthusiastic manner. Over the next Few Weeks We will
endeavour to list all these people for you, so if you are
wanting to assist your contact someone in particular you
know who you are looking for :)
The Board:
A dedicated, determined and focused Board of Directors for
the Sunshine Coast Community Hospice including Sandra
Machin, Sue Mason-Baker and Stewart Wood
are all working together to support all the wonderful
people and other businesses involved with this community
charity. We introduce you now to this incredibly hard
working group. Please visit our Board Page for
further information...
Operations & Administration:
We have a number of people who make sure we run smoothly,
too many to name, though there are some key figures you may
like to know more about and that information can be found
on our Operations & Administration Page...
Katie Rose Cottage:
Our Hospice requires quite a number of fully qualified
staff and volunteers to ensure that we professionally
attend to our clients in the manner they deserve.
They range from experienced Health Services staff and
Counselors to volunteers, visit the Katie Rose Cottage page
to see what is achieved...
Fundraising:
This is of course a very important area of the Hospice
activities, without which we could not operate and
expand. Some very dedicated people spend hours in
time and energy to ensure our operations continue without
missing a beat. Visit the Fundraising page for more information...
Volunteers:
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Charity, without which
we would not exist. Our Volunteers work in a variety
of capacities ranging from cooking & cleaning to
gardening, administration to manning booths, you name it,
our volunteers do it. If you would like to know more
about our caring helpers, please visit the Volunteering page...
Charity Shops & Boutiques:
We currently have three retail outlooks, Mapleton, Tewantin and Maroochydore, stocking a variety of items, managed and run by some very wonderful people. Visit our Charity Shops page to find out more...
Unfortunately our website is also looked after by two
volunteers and this means it can often take time to get all
the information we would really like onsite here for
you. This area will be filled out more over the next
few months, though in the meantime, if you are looking for
a particular area or person at the Hospice, please
just contact us.

meant the warm feeling between host and guest and later the place where
