Board
Through the Sunshine Coast’s enormous generosity we
are able to open up a larger Katie Rose Cottage
with six private rooms fully adapted to care for the
requirements of terminally ill guests in a home away from
home. As we go to print this wonderful facility is
being fitted out to accommodate three to four guests to
start begin with. The Katie Rose Model provides the
services guest’s require to make exemplary end of life care
available for the community at no personal cost to the
guest, as well as working with their community health
professionals including palliative care nursing services.
To now have a fully operational hospice in our area is a
wonderful privilege.
